Who built the St. Louis Zoo?
The St. Louis Zoo was built by the City of St. Louis, Missouri, in the United States. The development of the zoo began in 1904 for the World's Fair and officially opened in 1910.
The St. Louis Zoo has since undergone numerous expansions and renovations to become one of the top zoos in the country. Its original design was influenced by famous landscape architect George Kessler, who integrated the zoo into the existing Forest Park.
